Classic & Vintage: Hope Blooms Log Cabin Quilt Block

Happy Monday, quilters!  We're kicking off this week with our next Classic & Vintage quilt block, the oh-so-classic Log Cabin.  Yes, we know this block has been done a gazillion times, in a trillion different variations, but we still love it, and we'll show you how to make it perfectly!

Find out our secret weapon in our Classic & Vintage tutorial video!  Kimberly made her block in Kindred Spirits by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics.  You can find the free Hope Blooms Log Cabin Block pattern here, and the gorgeous log cabin applique quilt behind her?  That's a pattern too!  Designed by Bunny Hill Designs, the Hope Blooms Log Cabin Quilt pattern is available here, and we have kits for it here.

You may have noticed the lovely pink ribbon applique in the top right corner of the Hope Blooms quilt.  Finding a cure for breast cancer is a cause that is near and dear to the designer Anne Sutton's heart.  She designed this quilt and fabric collection to reflect that, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this fabric line will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Now enjoy the video, visit our bloggy friends below to see their own Log Cabin creations and leave them some love!  Oh, and of course, share your own creations with us #classic&vintage and #fqsfun!
