I'm excited to share my new block of the month with you, Toes in the Sand. It features 12 unique triangular blocks all created with my Hex N More Ruler. Each month you will create two blocks from the same design. By using creative fabric placement your quilt will appear to have 24 different blocks. Best of all... There are no pesky Y seams!
The fabric I used is BasicGrey's PB&J fabric line that will be out early next year. I love the light and dark blues mixed with the pops of color.
This pattern will be printed in a larger format than normal Jaybird Quilt Patterns. It will be a full color 8 1/2" x 11" book! The book will include directions on how to make all 12 blocks and assemble the Toes in the Sand twin size quilt. By printing it this way you won't have to worry about possibly losing one of the month's directions too!
